Haoming (Howie) Ying, graduated from George Washington University Law School and Shanghai University, is one of Yuanze partners. Howie is the member of the first group of International Legal Service Leading Lawyers of Guangzhou City, also a member of the International Legal Service Pioneer Lawyers of Guangdong Province. Before joining Yuanze, Howie has for years worked in ZTE Corporation, and several top tier law firms in China, such as Zhonglun and Lifang & Partners.

Howie Ying holds the Patent Attorney Bar, focuses on intellectual property law practice, also specializes in providing foreign affairs related legal services. He is skilled in intellectual property licensing, granting, infringement litigation, invalidation and administrative actions, as well as trade secret dispute resolution. Howie has represented multiple international well-known companies in a series of intellectual property litigations in China, several of which are Fortune Global 500. Howie has accumulated plenty of experience in providing compliance services for internet and technology innovation driven companies, as well as traditional manufacturing clients.

Howie Ying is also expert in outbound direct investments and foreign direct investment. Howie has provided legal services for several well-known Chinese publicly listed companies such as Kingfa Sci. & Tech. Co., Ltd. in multiple outbound direct investments in the U.S., Mexico, Japan and Germany, among which the incorporation of new subsidiaries, purchase of lands, construction of plants, negotiation of private power supply, mergers and acquisitions are involved. Howie has also provided legal service for a Shanghai sportswear brand and its founders in the domestic and overseas Round Trip Investment (the registration pursuant to “Circular 37”, and the setup of the Red Chip Structure).
